Grangemouth High School
THE WORKS:
The ERDC Group were employed by Stewart Milne Construction to construct a new synthetic grass pitch, 2 natural grass pitches for football and 1 natural grass pitch for rugby use at the newly built Grangemouth High School.
The full size synthetic grass pitch for football and hockey use was constructed from a green field site and included a full drainage system; perimeter kerbing; Type 1 sub-base; double layer engineered base; 15mm insitu shockpad and 24mm sand-filled synthetic grass carpet with associated fencing and floodlighting.
The natural grass pitches included ground stabilising works, full drainage systems and seeding.
