Scottish Enterprise Technology Park
THE WORKS:
The project involved the design and construct of a speculative high quality office and technology building for the joint venture company between ERDC in Partnership and Lanarkshire Development Agency, at Scottish Enterprise Technology Park, East Kilbride. The project was successfully completed exactly on time and to the original budget.
Supply chain management techniques were successfully implemented to deliver this multi-user business centre project and the main features of construction were:
- 2 No 2-storey blocks of flexible office and workshop space linked by a central core block consisting of stairs, lifts, meeting rooms, mail room and plant rooms;
- Total floor space of 2,432m2;
- External works comprised of block paved car parks and landscaped grounds.
