THE PRISON SERVICE CHOOSE ERDC AND FIELDTURF TARKETT AGAIN AS THE SECURE CHOICE
ERDC proudly hand over another FieldTurf Tarkett pitch for the Prison Service, this time at HMP Norwich.
Having been chosen to construct their new FieldTurf Tarkett pitch, construction works commenced in February 2009 with completion scheduled for April 2009.
A very close consultation and planning process was necessary with ERDC and the Estates and Security teams at HMP Norwich ahead of the start to ensure that the strict requirements of the establishment were adhered to at all times.
Mr Colin Webb of HMP Norwich commented 'We have been very much aware of the difficult circumstances with which ERDC's site team had to operate and the outcome looks and performs brilliantly. The quality of the pitch is first class, the programme has been met and both parties have worked extremely closely to ensure that the project was value engineered to give us value for money. I am certain that many more establishments will benefit from ERDC's high level of expertise, rigour, support and skill'.
