SPARTANS MARCH IN!
On 5th December, the new North Edinburgh Football Academy, built by ERDC for The City of Edinburgh Council was handed over to the new tenants, Spartans Football Club.
The new facility, adjacent to the existing leisure centre at Ainslie Park, includes a clubhouse and pavilion; full-size floodlit grass and synthetic pitches; a 500 seat grandstand; a synthetic training area; and additional car parking. It is intended for both club and community use, and Spartans are delighted with their new home.
Construction Director Jock Laidlaw said 'ERDC are especially pleased to be involved in such a high profile and worthwhile project, and it's good to see how well-used the facility is already.'
